Contestant Pack Overview
Contestant packs (also called "Player Packs" currently) are the character you show as during the game show. The character's name is used during gameplay and they react to the game results.
Contestant packs go in the packs_player folder in the game files, which can be accessed from the main menu.
Contestant images:
The contestant requires an image named player.
Best practices:
- Supported file formats are PNG and JPG, but PNG is suggested because JPG doesn't support transparency.
- The image is positioned so that its bottom edge touches the studio floor. If you want to shift your character upward, add empty space to the bottom.
- The image isn't scaled. A small image will result in a small contestant, and a large image will result in a large contestant. Aim for a range of about 500 pixels wide by 1000 pixels tall to fit the podium.
Contestant audio:
Contestants can speak in response to certain events. Each event can have one audio file. The names do not matter--they can be set in-game in the Customization menu.
There are nine events that can have audio:
- Being introduced by the host
- Winning the game
- Losing the game
- Getting a judge score of 0
- Getting a judge score of 1
- Getting a judge score of 2
- Getting a judge score of 3
- Getting a judge score of 4
- Getting a judge score of 5
Contestant config:
The config can be edited in the Customization menu.
- The contestant's name
- The two colors of their podium and score panel
