CHATTER CONTENT PACKS

Chatter Pack Overview

Introduced in version 0.5.0, chatter packs are a Twitch-exclusive feature for streamers to give their chat the ability to "speak" in-game.

A chatter pack is a collection of audio, much like a voice pack. Keywords are assigned to every audio file, and chat members can trigger these audio files during a game show by using those keywords.

Chatter packs go in the packs_chatter folder in the game files, which can be accessed from the main menu.

Chatter config

Currently, chatter keywords must be assigned directly in the file itself. Your chatter pack will require a file named config_chatter with a file format of INI or CFG.

There are two categories for keywords:

These two categories must be specified in a config file format, in brackets. The following is an example of a chatter pack:

[broad_keywords]
clap.ogg = ["clap", "👏"]
xdx.ogg = ["xdx"]

[exact_keywords]
gunshot.ogg = ["mychannel13Gun"]
laugh.ogg = ["mychannel13Laugh"]
oh1.ogg = ["oh", "Oh", "OH"]
oh2.ogg = ["oh", "Oh", "OH"]

In the example above, a clapping sound will trigger any time a Twitch user chats any variant of "clap" (and the clapping emoji). The audio clap.ogg will trigger from all of the following: "clap", "Clap", "clap2", "clapping", "CLAPS", "cccclappp"

You can also see in this example that multiple audio files can share the same keywords. Both oh1.ogg and oh2.ogg are triggered by the same variants of "oh". When audio files share keywords, one will be chosen at random.
