Judge Modpacks Guide (v0.4):

Judge modpacks allow you to customize the appearance and sounds of the judge panel in the game. You can choose their images, names, and the audio that plays for each point earned in a round.

Structure

Judge modpacks are stored in the "packs_judges" folder within the game directory. To create a new pack, you can either create a new folder within "packs_judges", or you can get started with the "Add New Pack" button in the in-game Customization Menu. When you create a new judge modpack in-game, it createa new pack that has all the default values.

Please be aware that the judges modpack file structure is expected to change significantly in v0.5

Customization Options

Judge Images

The game seeks five image for the judges. These images must be named "judge1", "judge2", "judge3", "judge4", and "judge5". They will be displayed in-game from left to right in that order. If a judge image doesn't exist or fails to load, the game default will be used.

It is recommended to make judge images about 1000 pixels tall. Judge images are not scaled, so you can make them as small or as large as desired.

Judge Names

Each judge can have their displayed name edited on Page 1 of the Judge Customization in-game.

Success Screens

When a judge gives you a point during a round, their podium will display the "success screen." In order to customize this screen, include an image file in your judge modpack named "success".

Score Blips

Judge modpacks include audio customization for the score bilps. When scoring a performance, a sound effect will play for each vote given by the judges. This will always play in order from the first blip to the fifth. Score blips can be added to a modpack as audio with the names "scoreblip1", "scoreblip2", "scoreblip3", "scoreblip4", "scoreblip5". Supported audio formats are WAV, MP3, and OGG.
